Excitor & Pridis offer solution for reduction mobile costs
Excitor A/S and Pridis B.V. today announced the integration of Excitor’s DME Mobile Device Management solution and Pridis’ Florin Telecom Expense Management solution. For companies who have introduced mobile phones as a key working tool in their organizations the joint solution will enable control of mobile telecom expenses by having real-time access to data and voice traffic consumption combined with actual billing schedules. With this offering from Excitor and Pridis, organizations also get a robust mobile device management tool for remote device configuration, mobile service management and mobile data protection.
One simple interface for enterprise mobile phones
The combined mobile application suite is made available through a common web portal interface and supports iPhone, Symbian, Windows Mobile phones today with Android and BlackBerry scheduled to be added in the beginning of 2010.
Combining company’s telecom plans with actual data and call consumption
“We have been in the telecom expense management market with our Florin solution for a long time and have seen the need for better central device management and data protection as mobile phones have taken over for fixed desk phones. Combining Florin with Excitor’s DME solution, gives customers the key abilities they need to control mobile costs instantly and to proactively control and signal mobile calling and data costs which can help modify user behavior,” says Johan van Oostveen, CEO of Pridis.
Excitor COO, Mads Skalbo, comments: “With Florin’s telecom expense management integrated with DME, we are able to give the actual expense overview for each user as Florin’s telecom rates from the operators are combined with DME’s real time data and voice traffic statistics. The result is a unique opportunity for companies to educate users on the cost of their actual behavior when it is happening.”
The joint offering will be sold through Excitor’s partners in the Scandinavian countries and the United Kingdom and through Pridis’ partners in the Benelux countries and Germany.
