Connecsy is a user-friendly control program for the Avaya Communications Manager® platform. With Connecsy it is possible to control the telephone functions with a Windows® Computer. It is also possible to take a quick search at the user database.
The telephone list isn’t restricted to internal information only, this is made possible by the extensive database. That way the telephone operator has got access to all data he or she needs for delivering the call to the right person efficiently.
For all the functions, including integrated call management, Active Directory support and message handling, only one screen is required. This IP-Connecsy screen looks just like an ordinary telephone operating panel. The ‘Busy’ field
states which individuals are engaged on a call or have been transferred.
With Connecsy the following tasks, among others, can be carried out:
- Vista and windows 7 user friendly interface
- Support of all the standard switchboard facilities.
- VoIP or DCP connection with the central exchange.
- IP-Road Warrior and IP Telecommuter mode.
- Consulting of database of internal and external contacts.
- Busy Lamp Field with a user status indication of; Busy/Free, voice-mail, login, no-disturb mode, forwarding.
- Display of queuing incoming calls.
- Fall-back to same attendant (CTI link required).
- Foreground screen with incoming traffic while other Office applications are in use.
- Performance reporting on call handlers.
- Notification field in the information database.
- Importing and exporting between the database and Excel and CSV.
- Connection to Microsoft Outlook agenda/mail and Lotus Notes.
- Pictogram in the Windows taskbar.
- Citrix® support.
- VMware® support.
- MS-SQL®, Oracle® and freeware database.
- LSP IP routing mode.

- Traffic, accessibility and user reporting, enhanced traffic and accessibility
- in combination with Calacsy Telecomm management application.
- Nine languages available as standard: English, German, French, Dutch,
Italian, Spanish, Danish, Norwegian and Swedish.
The picture below is the Connecsy main screen that displayed a link to Microsoft Exchange. Presence information is displayed using colors in the search field. The Busy Lamp Field will give the information the same way, which is not shown in this picture.
