Pridis Espa System integration for Petroleum Development Oman successfully completed

Pridis in collaboration with Swiss phone from Switzerland completed an Espa-application system integration program for the Petroleum Development Company in Oman.

The solution of Pridis deploys a manageable operation to place paging-calls within the whole enterprise. In Oman it concerns an organization with 7 manufacturing plants across the whole country.

The Pridis ESPA server virtually connects to any telephone system, which can be linked with various paging units (according ESPA 4.4.4). The functions supported include "call me", "meet me" and "join me".

Through the ESPA Application Server, a simple and manageable communication link between a server and a pager system can be created. The ESPA-Server is connected via a standard interface to the PABX and all functionality is provided by the ESPA Application Server. This means that any communication system can be coupled with a pagingsysteem and that no intelligence in the communications system have to be present.

Within the Netherlands this cost-saving application is deployed for several years successfully in several hospitals and financial banks.
